Hey guys,
As some of us high levels are starting to find out, the game can get pretty boring once you are all 'setup'. I don't want to be bored, you guys don't want to be bored. So lets start discussing how we will treat PVP on this server of ours. Open to any and all suggestions.

if we do weekends there has to be some limits like not killing dinos or taking all blueprints. leaving some good ones and bad ones if you do take any at all.leave some dinos alive that can help them get back on there feet. say one of each dino they have that help out a lot like birds and trikes, stuff like that.
with the arena. something that would be interesting but again rules about persons gear if you do hand to hand combat and the abelty maybe to also throw in the towel if you know your going to lose, with a slight fee to the victor. things like this could make it really fun without losing all of your stuff

Not playing as much as I used to but still regularly enjoy the game and this server. There are a heck of a lot more updates coming as the game is still very early access, so it may be a bit premature to jump straight to blood curdling battles to up the fun leve. Personally, im quite happy PvE as it presents quite a challenge. If the high level blokes want to have at each other, im perfectly fine with that, i just dont want to be massacred in the crossfire unwillingly! Perhaps creating two factions of PvE, and PvP might work.

To be HONEST and frank here I'm not on this server to PVP. I'm here with my tribe mates to provide support for them. I've played over 700 hours on Ark...and I've lost count of the servers i have played on. Been there done that brought the T-Shirt so to speak. My like of this game is building...i like to build bases for me and my friends and play a support role. I farm the eggs and cook up the kibble.
I've been on PVP servers where the top dogs get bored picking on the other top dogs or loose out, so they go after the new guys. Kill all their dinos, take all their stuff and smash their bases. i just kept rebuilding on one server till i got bored. then i moved on. i heard that server eventually went pear shaped because of it. Have heard that from a lot of servers that had pvp. On the other hand I've been on the odd pvp server that has had organized pvp events...participation is voluntary. Some allow raiding but no Dino killing. The rulz are multiple...
I have enough trouble doing the usual stuff to have to worry about some player (who i thought was helping) turn around and stab me in the back. I've had some good times on both PVP and PVE...so I'm not saying don't do PVP...
I'd like to stay neutral in this if possible...if not then i have one right on this server i can utilize. I can leave.
